Since the 1990s, Edson Luiz Ignácio and Maurício Mendes have been respected names in orange cultivation in São Paulo. In 2019, they founded São Pedro da Canastra estate in Serra da Canastra, Cerrado Mineiro, with a vision to produce specialty coffees.
