Wanoja is a word from the Sundanese language meaning a woman. The reason for choosing Wanoja is at the very beginning only women joined the Cooperative.
As time goes by, Wanoja Coffee continues to grow, currently Wanoja Co-Operative has 55 farmers as Co-Operative members, they are farmers who are living around Ds Laksana. The Co-Operative has a total 81Ha coffee plantation and 11Ha is owned by Hj. Eti Sumiati.
Throughout its existence, Wanoja has continuously expanded its production capacity and intends to continue this growth in the coming years. Presently, Hj. Eti Sumiati’s son, Satrea, manages the mill.
The Wanoja Coffee Farm is situated in a former volcanic area, at an elevation of 1500-1700 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. The farm boasts pine trees as shade trees.
